Project Timeline – No Feeling Is Final: Live (City of Melbourne Application)

This brief timeline outlines the key activities and milestones for the presentation-focused phase of No Feeling Is Final: Live, supported by the City of Melbourne arts grant. The timeline reflects the presentation development occurring throughout 2025, leading to the public presentation in early 2026.

Note: creative development and presentation phases will be happening either across Jan/Feb 2026 OR May/June 2026, subject to creative team availability.

JUNE–DEC 2025: PREPARATION (not City of Melb Funded activities)

  • Finalise creative team, including confirmation of Director

  • Confirm Science Gallery Melbourne venue dates (January or June 2026) and lock in public presentation schedule

  • Begin project planning, including detailed schedule and coordination with Science Gallery staff

  • Identify early rehearsal opportunities and low-cost spaces for script development and creative team meetings (e.g., Kathleen Syme Library)

  • Script development throughout 2025 led by Honor Eastly, in preparation for creative development and presentation at Science Gallery in 2026

JAN or MAY 2026: INTENSIVE CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT PHASE

  • Script development led by Honor Eastly, with dramaturgical support from Ahmarnya Price and creative input from the Director

  • Advisory group sessions with lived experience collaborators (2 script read-throughs)

  • Technical development: early design planning for video, sound, and lighting elements

  • Ongoing check-ins with mental health consultant Dr. Tim Sharp to ensure content safety

  • Alongside: marketing for public presentation, including through industry mental heath networks to engage new audiences

FEB or JUNE 2025: SCIENCE GALLERY RESIDENCY

  • Two-week creative development rehearsal. Week one will be with Honor Eastly, Ahmarnya Price and Director. Week two will include development and rehearsals with full creative team - Rob Curulli (sound / lighting) and Nikki Castle (video design) at Science Gallery Theatre

  • Refine show structure, technical cues, and production elements based on creative team input

  • Lock in access documentation and psychological safety supports for team and audience

FEB or JUNE 2026: PRESENTATION AT SCIENCE GALLERY MELBOURNE

  • Technical setup, final rehearsals, and presentation to public audiences at Science Gallery’s 200 seat theatre.

  • Access documentation distributed in advance to support inclusion and audience wellbeing

  • Feedback collected from audiences and collaborators to inform next-stage touring development
